Zooming with xgraph

One of xgraph's best features is its ability to zoom in to areas of particular interest.

xgraph Notes

  1. xgraph is a fantastic utility, and it's been around a long time.
  2. xgraph allows zooming all the way down to an individual data point.
  3. Each graph window can be resized as required.
  4. However, selecting too small an area in one step can be a problem.
  5. Zooming to a very small area may require multiple zoom steps.
  6. These days (and on Linux), xgraph cannot graph a huge number of metrics on the same graph.
  7. That's not as bad as it sounds because such a graph would be very hard to read anyway.
  8. xgraph did not have these problems years ago, so...
  9. If someone has time to update xgraph, these limitations could presumably be eliminated.
  10. A huge thank you to the xgraph developers.
